This story really surprised me as I never thought segregation was as well common in the north as it was in the south. It talks about the challenges Julia and Don Miller, the African American painter and his wife, faced when they decided to move in into an all white neighborhood in Montclair, Nj around the 1960's. Screenwriter Jason Lemire compiled their story as he watched it unfold from across the street. Hopefully we will see it soon on the big screen.
