Four times in our history, (most recently in 2000) the Electoral College has sent a second-place candidate to the White House. This almost happened again in 2004 and some pollsters are already predicting it could happen again in 2008.

  • No matter how an election is held.....it comes down to each person knowing what they did and relying on all others to tell the truth...........humans have been given the greatest gift imaginable.....the ability to communicate......the ability to communicate depends on being able to understand what others are saying......language barriers......mostly unaddressed world wide.........and the ability for humans to tell the Truth........Truth at this time is on life support.....not expected to make it.........I wish with everything that I knew the answer.......One thing I do know.........please examine the basic motives and drive of.......anyone.....that wants to lead you anywhere.......Golden Ruler.........Richard............

  • Trust, the Republicans will do whatever it takes to steal the election. C'mon look at their track record.

    Election reform is tantatamount to fair elections. Period.

  • You really think someone other than the one the people voted for could become president?!?!?!?
    This is part of what I've been saying all along - Obama is not a shoe-in, even if he gets 6 out of every 10 votes cast. There's a lot of things at play these days, especially since it seems the republican party has hijacked our country and ripped it off to the bones. We're in trouble my friends.
    Big money and their media are now in full control.

  • This is extremely important. The Supreme Court violated the Constitution in the Bush vs. Gore 2000 decision. The American People cannot let this pass. We must keep on pushing for election reform even after this election in November. Republican presidents have stacked our Supreme Court with right wing "activist" judges.

    We should push for the total disbanment of the entire republican party.
