That's right, two Spanish kids have been admitted to a mental health clinic by their parents because they can't carry out normal activities without their handsets.
The kids, ages 12 and 13, were reportedly doing badly at school as well as lying to their relatives to fund their phone addiction.
A Spanish addiction expert spoke on the matter saying that these cases could be the "tip of the iceberg", and that mobile phone addiction "could definitely be a danger in the future".
