  • And it was prophesied on this day of March 17, 1968 of my father's 15th birthday, that a man of two colors, mixed into one, would deliver this nation in 14,000 fortnights. He will be called...Obama! And the people will follow him, some will turn from him, and will not be compelled by his words. Lo, shall there be multiple trials in which.....ah, forget it.

  • To my knowledge, Robert Kennedy was initially the one who pushed his brother John to work on civil rights issues. It doesn't surprise me that he said that, but his accurate prediction shows how in tune he was with the with the struggle for civil rights.

  • Why does Russert say it was in 1968, when the graphic clearly states 1961? RFK is seemingly talking about his brother in the present, which corresponds with the year 1961. Do you get the feeling Russert was trying to make the statement a little more prescient?

  • An informed person can make a prediction 40 years in advance and get it right. A fraud "psychic" can make a prediction a year in advance and still get it wrong. I'm talkin' to you, Sylvia Browne.
