Afghan president Hamid Karzai has warned that he is ready to send troops over the border into Pakistan to confront militants based there. Karzai has described how Pakastani militants have been crossing the border from Pakistan to Afghanistan in order to kill Afghans and coalition troops. Karzai stated that his nation had a right to retaliate in 'self-defence'.

According to an article in the December the 6th 2001 issue of Le Monde, Hamid Karzal has links with the Union Oil Company of California which attempted to build a trans Afghanistan pipeline...
All of this comes after the news that the US killed 11 Pakistani soldiers.

Yet, without Pakistani cooperation and assistance Afghanistan would still be under Taliban control and no one would know who Karzai is.
Ain't politics funny? -
I say do it! That asshole Musharaff has decided if we can't beat em, join em. Somebody needs to do something 'bout those coward Taliban jackasses!
-
That's exactly what we need! More war! I'm sure he's had this intelligence for sometime. Why now do you want to go war? I question his timing and motives.

World War Three has been declared... by a man who looks like the Travelocity Gnome. I'm on my way!

War solves everything, now doesn't it. It brings wealth, peace, and happiness throughout.
...maybe true thousands of years ago when we still had to worry about barbarians.-

Karzai has an army? I'll bet the Pakistani troops are having a good laugh at the idea.
-
I doubt this will happen

Instead of making tall claims President Karzai should keep in mind the fact that his government owes its existence to the presence of NATO forces in Afghanistan. The moment the NATO forces are withdrawn the Karzai government would collapse like a house of cards.

There should be a website that counts down to WWIII with several events listed that would mark how close we are to it actually happening.
If I were fully aware of how events run in the world from history's telling to now I would so do it, but I'm not nearly as educated as one would need to be to pull that off.
I just see that it's starting to become inevitable that something horrible is going to happen that no one saw coming.
With all this talk about "I'm going to go to war" over an election or any other petty thing it's just a matter of time. -
I grow discouraged on the war on terror.
