The plight of Iraqi refugees is now worse than ever, with millions struggling to survive in desperate conditions and with little hope of finding sanctuary.
While the crisis continues, the world community, especially Western countries, have not only failed to help but are also erecting fresh obstacles to prevent the dispossessed men, women and children from settling on their shores, says a new report by Amnesty International.

Of course we wouldn't let them in. Let them move here so they can take our toilet cleaning, bed turning, Walmart stocking jobs. I think not!
-
yeah, let them die after we invaded their land, destroyed their houses, killed their families, etc. Why would we want to help the same people we are trying to destroy right?
All in the name of Freedom...
From the movie STOP LOSS: "FUCK THE PRESIDENT" -
Take a look at this VC2 pod about the Iraqi refugee crisis.

This neglect is creating the terrorists of tomorrow. We need the chocolate bombers and we need them fast.

i'd much prefer to have "made in Iraq" on most everything i see sold in this country than "made in China " - Iraqi labor might just be cheaper , but this gov't can't afford to NOT stay in debt to China .

Interesting how the West rolls; Let us bombard and tear up your struggling country, but we still won't let you take safe refuge in our nations. We play god, we control your destiny.

People want to pull out.
Now they want to go back and help.
Which is it? Help or don't help....it seems people are too fickle and don't know what the hell they want.
I'd help them if I had money but a country shouldn't house them. America has enough problems and inviting more will not fix what we have to fix.
Why doesn't Canada house them? Why doesn't France house them? Why doesn't Russia house them? Why doesn't a country that has a holier than thou attitude house them? You know the ones...that state they want Obama. Why doesn't any of them house them?
America isn't the only country in the world with the ability to do so.
And just because they invaded doesn't mean they have the obligation to clean up.
It would be polite...right? But don't expect it. -
we will turn our backs on irag's just like we did on the montengard who helped us in 60's in vietnam and who ever else helped us in the past 8 years that 's the way we do war buisness

A mass exodous of a US presence would create more refugees, but the US economy cannot afford to continue barrowing money from China to occupy Iraq.

in a world gone mad we sit back and cause more insanity. our forefathers would hang their heads in shame at our current fascist reality.
and of course we should help these people. we should be first in line offering a hand. we caused this.-

People want them to pull out. Time table, time table, time table.
Pull out doesn't include helping people. -
i dont know if i should even respond to this but why should pulling out of an illegal war and helping devastated refugees be exclusive exactly?
