Israel sought on Monday to lower U.S. expectations for any deal with the Palestinians this year, brushing aside pressure over settlements and calling for decisions on Jerusalem's future to be deferred.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice ended her sixth trip to the region this year with no sign of progress in nudging both sides toward a peace deal by the end of 2008.
Image above is a satellite view of the region needing peace. Let's visualize peace in Israel and Palestine and bring some good vibes to the table. Rice didn't and the Israeli Government didn't.
All the Israeli government needs to do is give back most of the land they illegally took from Palestine. As far as Jerusalem is concerned, both countries want to control it and it is a major obstacle. My idea is to give Jerusalem to an International concern and have both countries in charge. Jerusalem belongs to the world.
Remember, lets visualize peace while looking at the picture of the region there!

here is a piece on some senseless killings by the Israeli Military of peace activists and reporters. Just recently this was picked up for current tv in the UK. We need to get the world out that the Israeli government is corrupt and the reason peace is stalled.

Growing up in a religious household I know the importance of inner peace and the connection with God that can be meaningful to many people. The disagreement between Palestine and Israel is an argument over land which has significance to both country's. Israel because of its religious significance and Palestine also, the borders have become more of a scare to both countries and the disrupt the people are encountering are continuing to undoubtably harm its people.
Israel claimed its territory first under its state. Therefore they have significant claim to the area as well as the connection the people have with it. Because of its meaning to those close to it and those world wide it has not only been an obstacle but a terror. Israel belongs to the world but it also belongs to its people, which often makes it a high debated scarce topic. -
These people started out living together in peace. But terror, the evil curse, followed in their shadows. Now it has cursed their existence. The brainwashed tyranny will not be easily removed from the minds of so many begrudged...
Neither side believes in this U.S. administration, so, will not give them the satisfaction of success...try as they may...right now, only money will buy only a temporary peace...
We must teach the children a better way...-

Israel wants land. Having a Palestinian State would mean less land for Israel. Land reform is just another word for war.
