I thought Al Gore was going to endorse Ralph Nader.

Over the next four years, we are going to face many difficult challenges -- including bringing our troops home from Iraq, fixing our economy, and solving the climate crisis. Barack Obama is clearly the candidate best able to solve these problems and bring change to America.
I've never asked members of AlGore.com to contribute to a political campaign before, but this moment and this election are too important to let pass without taking action -
That is excellent news. It means he will be working with Obama on the environment. Or Obama will be working with him on the environment. Best environmental news in months.
-
Now we can all work together as one team.
I am eager to see what our course of action is now.
A new hopeful tomorrow. -
This is very exciting news.

The people should not wait for one Man to resolve their issues. People should act for the betterment of society regardless of their rulers. Seating back and wait for Obama is like repeating the same mistake over and over again. We should be taking about Health Care, Housing, Jobs, Education, Economy, Living Standards, Transportation, Energy, Lobbying mistakes in our Legal System. Actions Issues that matters! Sure I do not mind any other News once in a while but to be fixated by trash and brain dead news it is with no doubt a problem.

who's sitting back?
I hopefully will study renewable energy engineering...-

“It means a lot obviously,” Mr. Obama said. “We’ve had ongoing conversations about a whole host of issues, a lot of them have revolved around issues of climate change and energy and the environment. He’s provided good political advice.”

The only thing the speech was missing was Robin Williams holding a toddler as he introduced Al Gore.
He made a good point that "Elections Matter" -
Excellent speech...Al is a very powerful speaker in this...I hope we see even more strong leaders come forth soon to take up the baton...
Thanks Argon, for posting the speech...-

Great speech. The whole time durning this election I have not wanted to get my hopes up, until Obama was the democratic nominee, officially.
The only point that it didn't care for was the Christopher Columbus reference. History is subject to interpretation, and C.C isn't the greatest inspiration to me.
Just my feelings.
Overall excellent public speaking, and I'm excited to see how our history will play out.
We need change. -
I agree bubl_415 ... I feel there's real momentum behind Mr. Obama, and the country is ready to get behind someone who can bring about change.
Mr. Gore's endorsement, and Mr. Edwards' too, are great news for the Obama campaign.
GObama!-

Yes, it's terrible what the colonials did for land and money...same old game, still going on to some degree...in so many countries...
I also believe that Obama stands for real change...
The right-wing spinners are already trying their damnedest to disparage him and his family, though... the pathetic pacifists just want more 'same ole'...'same ole' no matter what the damage to the health and welfare of this, our nation, our people, and the rest of the world...blind sheep following their lost shepherds over the cliff...-

Well, let the wingnut spinners do their thing ... there's no skeletons in Obama's closet ... if there were, Hillary would've exploited the shit out of it already.

Whackadoodle wingnut spinners wingin' it for another spin in DC town...sounds kinda catchy...
Will they ever get a clue as to who they're fooling..? themselves...and, of course, the base...
Tyranny will not be, so easily, erased...-
