A staunch Clinton supporter has switched sides to now whole heartedly support John McCain in his bid for the White House. Paula Abeles, best known for her revisionist history by attempting to delete all black descendants of Thomas Jefferson from the record books, was a big Hillary fan but now sees the McCain doctrine more suits her political views.

In 1998 DNA testing verified Thomas Jefferson or a brother of his fathered six children of Sally Hemings a black slave owned by Jefferson at the time. Later narrowed downed to Thomas Jefferson directly Ms Abeles refuses to acknowledge the existence of the family line. Of course this would have nothing to do with why she now supports McCain after backing Clinton at first. Clearly the two candidates are similar enough for any reasonable person to see how one might easily switch???

  • I hope these McRats can afford to pay $8 for gas come 4 years from now, because apparently, it's better to vote against your own economic interest than to vote for a black elitist whose policies resembled that of Hillary Clinton. Then again, she doesn't have Hussein as a middle name though.

  • Why can't we just let the White House sit empty or let homeless people live in it.....rent it out to rich oil barons.....get some money flowing back......could anything be worse?....if this was truly a democracy.....then anyone....rich or poor.....any shade.....could be elected president......not just a dem or rep......oh I forgot.....only an idiot on an ego trip would even consider the job.....and counted votes are like honest politicians....hard to find......Golden Ruler......Richard......

  • I'm so numb to the stupidity of this whole thing, that I can even comment any more. Hopefully people can start to see that racism for these people is stronger than their own welfare, their future, the future of their children and the country they're trying so hard to perserve.

  • Thomas Jefferson spent most of his days writing of white supremacy......most of his nights just like nearly all slave owners.....forcing all of the women and some of the men to have sex with him.....most of the wisdom associated with America has always been attributed to him.....him and others like him did something grand that they never dreamed of....they broke the incestuous breeding habits of their ancestors and created a group of people that have contributed so much to America.....the list is endless....George Washington Carver comes immediately to mind....I love peanut butter ......so something wonderful came from one of the worst times in our history......yall must take and become color blind......this insanity and judging of others for the wrong reasons must stop.....Golden Ruler.....Will

  • This story seems to be just as confused as Paula Abeles since it tries to connect things that aren't related.

    What does her switching from Clinton to Mcain have to do with her attempts about Thomas Jefferson?

    And more importantly what does it have to do with McCain? I doubt he even knows her

  • I think one thing Obama supporters miss is that although granted Clinton and Obama are more alike on issues, Clinton and McCain are more alike on ideology. Both centrists, moderates, with strong National Security stances. Add to that the real vehicle of change is not the executive branch, but the legislative branch. Outside of duties as Commander and Chief, what powers does the President really have. Veto power, but that can be overturned with a sufficient majority in Congress. Appointing Judges, but those appointments have to be approved by the Congress. It's not that far a stretch. It all depends on if Clinton voters want to take a step to the right or a step to the left.

  • The media has reported plenty on ron paul (who I am assuming you consider to be a "true" anti-war candidate) But, FYI - he lost. He failed to get enough votes to be considered a viable candidate. Just a few days ago CNN was reporting on his "parallel convention" thing. The mainstream media has given him a lot more attention than he actually deserves when you consider how few votes he actually got. Air America has done great coverage of the courageous efforts by Dennis Kucinich to start the impeachment process. Even Bill-O reported on it....so what exactly are you complaining about? besides. Obama is a true anti-war candidate. HE WAS AGAINST IT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!
