  • This video is 4:20 and Dan Rather talks about burning things himself, i miss him on TV :( but i don't watch TV any more due to the lack of content.

  • We as a nation need to get on board on this issue. These media outlets does not give us the type of news that truly matters to this country. we dont hear about the Bush lies, the soldiers story you wont see on cnn clip that i saw on this lovely web site. You dont hear about the group of Indians that pulled from the nation. That what really matters, and it blows my mind that a group of people have pulled from this country and nobody evens knows about it The great US of A

  • you can watch 24 hours worth of news on cnn, fox , or msnbc and not really know anything. i never see anything about darfur, somalia, the drug violence in mexico, or anytyhing that really matters. The floods in Iowa are important i agree but they are in the news every fifteen minutes, or some police chase, or some pedophile. That stuff is not important it may be news worthy but thats all the news channels ever talk about, or lindsay lohan. Fox may be the worst, but that does not mean cnn or msnbc are any better. O'reilly may be the worst but that doesnt mean Larry King or Keith Olbermann are any better. The media is dumbing down america. Any show on the major news channels wont even bring you as much informations as the front page of a newspaper. And an alarming amount of americans rely solely on there news from fox, cnn, or msnbc. Americans are the most entertained people in the world and the most ignorant people in the world

  • I agree we need the right kind of news. There is way too much about celebrities and while I am willing to look at George Clooney, it's not important to know every detail of his life. The floods are important to cover. People need to be aware that they are going on. Our county is in bad shape this week and if won't be getting better any time soon. However, where are the REAL evening news reports? I now come to current.com for most of my news and watch The Daily Show for most of the rest. Our newspaper is pretty localized with only 1 or 2 pages of what is going on in the nation and around the world so that is pretty lame. I miss curretn when I'm away from home and the computer.
