Spielberg in deal with Indian video pirate

Image...
I finally have a real, live scoop! Today I am reporting on Steven Spielberg's impending deal with Reliance Group. The deal is common knowledge, but what no one will tell you is that this conglomerate, based in Mumbai, India was previously in trouble with Universal Studios for pirating Universal Studios' content. Not hosting, mind you, but selling pirated content.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the pirates are going to give half a billion dollars to Spielberg for a share of Dreamworks.

reliance is not only a pirate but a big thief. Stealing away property, bribing Indian Officials and pushing farmers out of their lands to make way for mega projects. Ruthless, stealers.

Pairing up with pirates? Wow! This either means that the pirates are so powerful that the only way to stop them is to make them shareholders, or the piracy business is so lucrative that even studios want a piece of it!!

Not the first time Spielberg has worked with pirates.

That is a fantastic sum of cash to invest in Dreamworks. It will no doubt ensure that there will be unpirated distribution channels for Dreamworks pictures in India.
