In todays times of high gas- unemployment-Bush-Food shortage-The War-Presidental election, it really doesn't matter to me. Us as a country have bigger issues to deal with.

    We could go on all day with this. It comes down to this, are you a biggot? do you feel you are better then others? is your way the only way? many are scared of what they dont know about. take aids for example, do you kow how many folks teach their kids not to sit on a public tolite because they can get aids if a gay person used it before them? or the same about a public drinking fountain.

    The facts is that those who yell and shake thier fist at something diffrent is only because they themselves are the ignorant ones. Kill what is diffrent or as Hitler said Kill all that is not perfect and the vison on one man himself. How many out there are Hitlers when it comes to 2 people falling into love that happen to be the same gendar.

    No its not a defect, not brainwashing, not from abuse or being raised my a single parent. It is because it is who they are. When I found out my brother was gay and he came out i was horrified. Why? because I didnt know about gay stuff. I am educated now and I am proud of him and i wish he was alive for me to tell him that but he was taken early in a sky diving accident in Oregon so I have lost my chance to share my happiness for him. That is my loss and i pray others dont have to go through it and loose out on happiness with family members because they drive a difrent car of sie their hair orange. yes its the same we all fear what is diffrent.

    God bless all and why should you care who loves who? I dont anymore I am happy that people find others to love them and that they can love too.

    if they want to be together : let em i couldnt care less.

    but if the wanna get married : have them call it somethin else.

  • This brother is either on some substance or there is limited substance in his premise, either way, I applaud his decision to stand aside and let those who are in the life live our lives without his negativity.

  • At least you are honest LOL. One day you may want to get married. Odd things happen LOL. I wish my late brother could have had the chance to marry his boyfriend even thou the guy turned out to be scum. I liked Raymond but after my brother died he became a diff person and messed over my family. I was ashamed I tried to help him but that is what Charles would have wanted. My brother should have had the right to marry this piece of scum if that is what he wanted. That should have been his right. Being he died in a terrible accident there was no hospital rights to worry about and we included ray in every turn for the scattering of the ashes and all that one would have the rights to if they would have married.

    All I am saying is give all people the right to marry not join or whatever it is they want to stick them with instead. Marriage is not for race or a type of relegion BUT a legal document that shows 2 people have committed their lives together and are in love.

    I asked a guy at a fair who was sitting a booth against gay marriage. I said why did you marry your wife. He said to have children. I said oh so you didnt love her you just needed eggs to fertilize, He said he loved her first then wanted her to bear his kids. I asked if you had a brother who was sterile and couldnt make a woman pregnant should he have the right to marry?

    He got angry and said of course he should have the right. I asked why if you are saying marriage is to only have children. I think that what is for one is for all. If 2 gay Guys cant marry because they can not produce offspring alone then wouldnt it be right to get a marriage license one must goto the docotor and have written proof that the 2 can both produce children together?

    Think on it please do, I want you all to see how dumb it is to put lables on something as wonderful as 2 people in love wanting to marry. what if it said one must have 2 arms and 2 legs or that one must be able to see and hear ot marry? where does it end? will we become Hitler and only allow the perfect to marry in the future? interesting if one thinks about it

    This includes civil marriages (i.e. marriages recognised by the state).

    After all marriage in law is just a contract to regulate and manage joint property assets.
