Anyone who has ever been to Japan will understand that this is just the next logical step in a country where the vending machine technology is two to three quantum leaps ahead of our own.

  • Nippon's technology is moving so insanely fast... Take for example those phones they have that can read barcodes, giving you all kinds of product information. We don't have those here in the states, but we know that RFID tags will be along in a while and stay around much longer.
    Anyway, this is the mix of tech and utter weirdness that makes Nippon so awesome. I saw my first Smart Car last week, good to see they're getting popular.
