Why do people see the Virgin Mary on a cheese sandwich or hear demonic lyrics in "Stairway to Heaven"? Using video and music, skeptic Michael Shermer shows how we convince ourselves to believe -- and overlook the facts.

Why do people believe in Homeopathic Medicine if it has absolutely no facts to back it up?
This stuff is growing and growing every day. It has been around for 200 years and should have one double blind placebo controlled study that is fully reproducible.. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/altmed/co...
Even the FDA is in it now so we know it is screwd up. Placebo effects are wonderful for a backup. I resent having this stuff up front and in my face in the mainstream. It is not free. I hate seeing elderly people and young mothers reading it carefully for their children when more effective alternatives are a few feet away like Omega 3's or herbs/supplemets or a netti pot.-
