Homosexuals' money is no good here

Some businesses still don't cater to homosexuals, ignoring a potentially lucrative source of revenue, says University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee economist Keith A. Bender.

One of the most well-known examples is eHarmony.com, even as California, the country's most populated state, began performing same-sex marriages this week. The online dating Web site bills itself as a provider of what it calls unique measurements for compatibility that, according to a representative, do not cater to same-sex partnering.

"The research is based on six Ph.D. psychologists and 29 variables for compatibility called the compatibility matching system," said David D., an eHarmony representative who refused to give his full name.

  • Many wedding photographers have refused to take clients who want thier same sex marriage or cermony photographed. They have been loosing in court and paying out big time settlements. If one is going to be in america in business then one must supply the same service to all who are over 18 and can leagally enter into a contract or they need to get out of business. Look at the current list of predijuice so called non profit oraganizations who have lost their no tax exampt status for being predujuice. Ok so I am handicapped and my hands dont type well so my spelling and grammer are off so what. That does not mean my mind does not work correct and I pay taxes and have my opinion. I say take them to court for not allowing anyone who can pay to subscribe

  • This may be a case of deliberate discrimination, but it could also be possible that the research they rely on to provide their service would become unreliable in a same sex situation.
