Party says Paul fought an uphill battle for liberty in his quest for the GOP nomination

Following the close of Ron Paul's presidential campaign, the Libertarian Party thanked Paul for all that he had done for liberty in his presidential bid. "Paul fought an uphill battle for liberty every day in his presidential campaign against all of the big-government juggernauts of the Republican Party," says Libertarian Party spokesperson Andrew Davis.

"Paul opened many doors for liberty in this nation through his presidential campaign," Davis continued. "By that standard--of which all politicians should be judged--he won a bigger victory than John McCain or Barack Obama ever will. Ron Paul worked to empower the people, not the government. That is a rare trait in today's political world."

  • It's too bad pauls alleged call for liberty doesn't extend to women, gays, people in poverty, the elderly and non-Christians.

Ron Paul is Anti-Choice and has said that if he'd been elected (ha!) he would have placed neo-conservative judges to the bench who would have overturned Roe v. Wade, a decision establishing the fundamental right to privacy of women to make the choice to have a child or not. Ron Paul wants the government off your back, but he wants it to decide if you'll have a baby or not.

Ron Paul has voted against making attacks on homosexual people hate crimes, leaving a minority population at a greater risk for harm and he wants to leave gay rights largely up to the states. Conservative states will deny homosexuals their rights, making America a place of fragmented freedom.

Ron Paul is against public education as he has voted for private school vouchers which gives tax money to religious schools and takes money away from disadvantaged kids.

He also doesn't believe in the time-tested institutions of social security and welfare that help the least among us. Ron Paul believes only those who are lucky enough to be healthy, able, and rich deserve a good life and a second chance.

He has consistently been a supporter of the Religious Right and has likened the founding documents of our country to the Ten Commandments.

Let's start off with his denial of Darwin's Theory of Evolution - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JyvkjSKMLw&feature=...

And his denial of the existence of Global Warming - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUm1aVwRnC0&feature=...

And his belief that the Ten Commandments are equitable to the Constitution - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unVqSwL-_Xk&feature=...

"The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. Certainly the drafters of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, both replete with references to God, would be aghast at the federal government’s hostility to religion. The establishment clause of the First Amendment was simply intended to forbid the creation of an official state church like the Church of England, not to drive religion out of public life. The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance." - Ron Paul

The Constitution does not once mention God and the Declaration only refers to an ambiguous "Creator". Has Ron Paul even read the Constitution?

He's also said, "Through perverse court decisions and years of cultural indoctrination, the elitist, secular Left has managed to convince many in our nation that religion must be driven from public view. The justification is always that someone, somewhere, might possibly be offended or feel uncomfortable living in the midst of a largely Christian society, so all must yield to the fragile sensibilities of the few. The ultimate goal of the anti-religious elites is to transform America into a completely secular nation, a nation that is legally and culturally biased against Christianity....Knowing this, the secularists wage an ongoing war against religion, chipping away bit by bit at our nation’s Christian heritage. Christmas itself may soon be a casualty of that war."

Ron Paul is a dangerous enemy of the Constitution.

Rights for all or rights for none! ROn Paul is spineless in the fight to claim rights for ALL Americans!
  • I love you CZ - since you're copy and pasting, I'll do the same from the last time we met about Ron Paul.
Below are answers to your comments and the best part is that the answers are in the video's that you posted

    1. Your ten commandments comment - wow!! is that what you got out of that video - maybe you work for Fox news?

    2. Global Warming - RP said it's overblown, does not deny it like you said - wrong there.

3.Denying evolution - he said he believes evolution to be a theory, he said he believes in God as the creator, he also said that there is no proof for either side.

4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6a9549ZeqQ Colonial - this one was too easy, you say he discriminates against homosexuality - he says he doesn't agree personally, but the feds have no say in it. Watch the video link
