  • Sounds like giving in to the Bush admin. on the telecom issue was a trade-off for getting funding for some domestic programs.... can't wait until we elect Barack Obama -- we may not have to play these games in order to get funding for domestic programs.

  • This shows that Democrats are just as bad as Republicans, but maybe give you the courtesy of a reach around while they screw you.

  • Yes it appears once again your elected representatives have flipped you the bird.

You may ask have they seen the polls that say 78% DO NOT support telecom immunity?
You may ask why would they ignore the voice of the people who elected them, their best interests, their privacy and the Constitution they swore an oath to protect?

I have a couple of quotes you may remember.
“The days of the do-nothing Congress are over,” declared Democratic Sen. Harry Reid .. BULLSHIT!
“This new Democratic majority has heard the voices of the American people,” said Rep. Nancy Pelosi.. AGAIN, BULLSHIT!
Quotes from when the Democrats "took back Congress". Yeah, right..
It's getting harder to tell the difference between the Republicans and these Democrats.

Here is a quote they seem to have forgotten..
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;"

    And the rules..
from the Constitution, Article I, Section 9; Clause 3 is:
"No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed."
