Good news for Col. Chessani

Charges against Col. Jeffery Chessani were dismissed in the incident inn Haditha where 24 Iraqis were killed by a Marine squad. Eight Marines in all were charged, seven have been cleared.
When this happened Congressman Murtha initiated a frontal assault on Col. Chessani, the other Marines in the incident along with our presence in Iraq. In summation, Murtha convicted everyone in the previous sentence in the media. Murtha and the media kept the issue alive for weeks and a lot of media attention, and by extension, public attention was focused on the alleged terrrible things our military was doing in Iraq.
Now that Col. Chessani and the other six Marines have been vindicated will we hear an apology from Murtha? Will we hear one from the media? Will we hear one from any of the other Capital Hill occupants for any sttements of condemnation of the Col?
As this draws to a close I understand Col. Chessani wants to sue Congressman Murtha for damages. I don't know if he will be able to but I hope he can and I hope he prevails, big time.
Murtha is a dishonorable person, not worthy of either being a representative or of being a Marine. So are his peers who joined in his indictment of Col. Chessani and the Marines.
Congratulations and Semper Fi to Colonel Chessani. God bless you and your family.
