"Beyond the Binary" is a tool kit for Gender Identity Activism coming or already in our public schools.

If you did not know, gender is based on how we feel about ourself and how we act.

If you think that it is based on our sexual organ and physical appearence we are a bigot and need re-education.

You can read the plan and strategy designed to spread the message to our kids regardless of what we believe or not.

  • This is an incredibly dangerous idea. If a man gets gender reassessment surgery, dresses as a woman and grow out his hair that’s cool. He can even call himself Barbra instead of Bob for all I care. However you can’t call me a bigot because I believe you are still a man.

  • We go to school to learn what the people before us found out. And while we are doing that we learn how to interact with eachother. If we baby people who CHOSE to be different that would throw out any kind of Norm. Kids either learn from it, go crazy or kill themselves (sometimes the last two). That is the world we live in. Deal. I do stress that school is about learning first and not interacting.

  • Soleil10, I think you are confusing the words 'sex' and 'gender' - 'gender' has always indicated cultural differences rather than biological ones. Look it up! :D

  • Gender means the differences between male and female, men and women. It is interchangeably use with the word sex.

    What you are talking is gender identity.

    Femininist started to talk about gender roles etc....so the word gender is evolving

    For 99% of the people gender means male or female= a pe...or a va.. and br...

    LOL... problem is: if you saw "him" on the street, there might be no way for you to figure out "she" is really [in your mind, anyway,] a "he" without... well, that might not even work, either!

    the only test that would come close is a chromosomal test for XX versus XY, and in some cases, the results might surprise even YOU!

    sometimes, you just don't know, so,... build a bridge and Get Over It.

  • This issue is indicative of the discrepancy between American ideals and practices. A free society founded on the idea of limited government influence should not be dependant on a state sponsored public school system. When a government is forced to set standards for the people their ruling reflects the majority and pays no respects to the minority.

    From one free person to another; I respect your ability to dress and act in accordance to how you feel, however I am entitled to my opinion nonetheless. Bigotry and prejudice are titles of the uninformed and hateful. They don’t apply in this situation and are only used to bolster ones claim by inciting racial problems. As a multiracial man I find that a no, no. You shouldn’t use the suffering of my ancestors to bolster your claims.

    I don’t like big government telling me what I should do but I also do not like an individual using the government to tell me what I should do. This IS a dangerous movement. I’m not going to build a bridge to “get over it” because the foundation itself is faulty.

  • Oh no, we must fight the evil gay agenda or before we know it all of our tax dollars will go into government mandated window treatments and everyone will have nothing but suzanne vega and the indigo girls to listen to.

    Even worse, all women will, gasp, work and make a living, a man's job, instead of bearing children, cooking, tending house, and pleasing their husbands like everyone knows they're supposed to do.

  • A workbook as a service for teachers !!!! Really.

    It teach how to harass and sue them etc....Install fear is the approach. Sue your way to nowhere !!! Create more division .

    We need workbooks for those student who are overweight, workbooks for those who are virgin and are picked on all day long.

    The agenda is clear. But I forgot, their is no agenda !!!

  • Exactly Soleil10 I’m so glad you brought up the actual contents of the packet. This document is not authored just to inform public school teachers about the LGBTG community. A lot of it has to do with teaching people how to make a public school bend to their agenda.

    The best things are not free, at least when considering public schools. The inadequacies of the state and federal bureaucracy has destroyed the education system. Americans have been duped into believing that education is best served when its free and ruled by “moral” and uptight politicians. Its no wonder to me that we’re now debating who is allowed to use what restroom.

    If you want to live your life as you choose without the interference of the government then don’t go the government for your education. If you have special needs (or just want a better education) go to a private school. You’ll have an easier time changing the policy there since the rules were authored by the school and not the state.

    If irreducible complexity can be taught instead of evolution in a school, then I imagine that a girl can be allowed to pop a squat on a men’s room standup urinal somewhere out there.

    Whatever your position may be I would hope that you would draw upon factual information to bolster your claim. Without the facts there is no chance for a healthy discussion to take place. While I do not oppose gays, lesbians and transgender I do find this particular tactic to be disgusting.

    No one should use a disenfranchised youth to further their political agenda. Teaching kids to sue their schools robs an already unfunded system of much needed money and will never bring about the change they’re asking for. I read an analogy somewhere today then went something like this.

    “If you get a flat tire you don’t fix the problem by beefing up your engine.”

    I think is some ways this is appropriate for this discussion. The best educational institutes were not founded by the government, they were creations of the private sector. If states are going to indiscriminately tax people so that everyone has a chance at an education they should at least provide a system where those people can choose they type of education they want.

    State funded public education is a form of socialism. It doesn’t serve the people it serves only the desires of the state. This has no place in a free, democratic society.

  • This thing is probably trying to protect Transgendered and Transexual kids from bullying and abuse. Wether or not you belive in it, i think you should agree that no one deserves any kind of abuse.

    Really, this is being done in good spirit. If you disagree with it, then where are the letters you sent to Beyond the Binary where you detail a better way to stop the abuse of LGBT students.

    I tell you what, telling LGBT kids they're unnatural doesn't belong in public schools.

    BTW, state funded schools work in Countries like Japan, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Ireland, even Cuba.

  • The misinformation, stereotypes about human sexuality is just the resulted of bad education and people denial and years of sexual repression. Everyone should be respected for what they want to be and no one, I said, no one should stick their nose in other's people bedroom trying to regulate or tell how or with their should have sex with it.

    I have been telling people that there is a fine line of limits in life where no one should cross and this is one of the "Do not cross Line!"

    GOD loves You for what you are! You can be what you want to be without hating anyone! If you like Girls, great! Love Guys and Girls! If you like Guys, Great! Love Girls and Guys! Avoid "separatism!" and those that advocate it for their own political or false religious agenda. Do not try to put anyone against anyone and everything will be just fine!

  • It has always been the story.... some people just need "others" to hate... and you have always had those who make the best of this fact.

    After Hitler and all his bad press it was no longer political correct to hate Jews so the hater mongers who make a living at others Jews hating moved on ... because the fund dried up there.

    Then after the Klan and all of its bad press, it was no longer political correct to hate Blacks, so the haters move on for the same reason.

    Gays are just a new fund raising source for these professional haters....
