  • I can hear what he's saying, but I can SEE what he's REALLY saying. I can't believe people actually voted for this guy. EXCUSE ME, let me finish, I think it'd be better if you let us get you out of the white house.

  • isn't there something with the nodding and shaking of the head that tells us that he is lying left and right.
    I see that same type of action when they are advertising stuff on infomercials..Then I turn off the station.

  • I think he's repeated these things over and over again so much that he really believes them. When she asks if he can look their leader in the eye and tell them the Iraq war will be worth it he does a subliminal shake of the head "no" while he actually says "absolutely." It's funny that he said he's not about popularity polls when he didn't win the popular vote in 2000. America is not a compassionate country either. It spends a very small percentage of its budget on foreign aid....it's like a recap of all the talking points of the last eight years.

  • I love how Bush always argues that Saddam used weapons of mass destruction against his own people. We’ll I say a death is a death and this disastrous mentality that led us to war is as much a weapon of mass destruction as anything Saddam ever used.

    This is so lame. You can bet Saddam and any other Sunni do not consider the Kurds to be "their people' any more than Custer considered the indians to be 'his people."

    I am not defending Saddam's brutality but it is a mistake to frame this in a distinctly western construct.

  • Bush is in denial. You've got to realize what's at stake for him; all that he's done could be jeopardized - and he could face impeachment (which means nothing once he's out) but also possibly criminal prosecution.

    The worst thing he and the bunch could do is to make things worse - expanding the lies and so forth.

    Why are we paying more for gas now having control of Iraqi oil - answer: because big oil has a monopoly stranglehold on large majority of the worlds commercial oil supply - and he (Busheney and gang) aren't fulfilling their role as the elected President of the American people.

    Free people aren't in Iraq aren't fighting freedom, they are fighting oppression and occupation, they are fighting the hi-jacking of their country's resources for British / American oil companies and Israeli domination of the middle east.

    George Bush, mcShame and your druggy wife - and you faux Hillary supporters, "yer either wif us, or yer again' us" - the United States of America that is.

  • it's kinda sad he believes all of the things he says. you can give him that, but he should listen to polls and his people when they say they don't want this war. THAT IS HIS JOB. also if his 'God' is so peace loving, why is going to war in the first place, couldn't he have used more peaceful methods?

  • i dont know why the this was "banned" if anything that reporter should have shut her mouth when Bush is giving his answers. I hate it when people interrupt me in mid thought. And the fact of the matter is, even though i dont agree with all of Bush's views. at least he has the balls to defend what he stands for. Unlike McChin who backs down from most "Hard" questions he is faced with. The bottom line is our government is divided and so is our nation. Until thats fixed were effed.

  • Wow... I especially liked how we lived in a relaxed world prior to 9/11. It wouldn't occur to him that there have been bombings from terrorists on other nations as well as on a few United States properties before his presidency, thus making the world an unrelaxed place. Nor would it occur to him that after our trauma of 9/11 the number of said bombings around the world has increased, particularly in the middle east.

    Hell, he was given information about Al Queda being a potentially serious threat from the previous administration, and he and his administration shrugged it off until after the towers went down and the pentagon was given a new sky light. Now I'm not saying that this information would absolutely have prevented 9/11 from happening, but it could have greatly increased our odds in preventing it.
