Women can now get the Pill directly off the internet, with no doctor's appointment needed. The move, part of a new online service, is to be offered to women already popping pregnancy prevention pills, but could be offered to all women pretty soon.
According to a spokesman for the DrThom company, patients will have to complete a health questionnaire and then maybe have to answer follow up questions from a doctor via email.

Yeah it can be a drag having to go to the doctors to keep getting a prescription for the pill but i think it's essential - i think introducing this is a bit irresponsible. Anyone could be getting the pill, and how are the doctors supposed to check up on the women?

apparently the company insists it will prescribe only to women aged 18 and over ...problem being that, according to the report, "doctors will have to rely on patients telling the truth."

Whether on the internet or in a doctor's office, doctors have to rely on patients telling the truth more than we might think about.
I think the Pill should be available online, if other medications like Viagra are so readily available. -
Anti-baby pills should be given to people who don't want babies.
end of story.-
