Paul 'The Gov'nor' Ince has been appointed Blackburn Rovers manager after the departure of Mark Huges. The former Manchester United player has been successful managing MK Dons and his appointment will make him the first black British manager in the premiership. It is well known that Ince dreamed of making this mark on history and its effect will have profound consequences for a generation of young black footballers,

I heard he still had to get his certificates and stuff, either way it's quality. I reckon he'll do well.

Why is it such a big deal that he's black? I didn't think that was supposed to matter.
I'm really interested to see how he does though - everybody is talking about his record with MK Dons as being proof that he's ready to manage a top-flight team. MK Dons are in the old fourth division let me remind you...-
