2 Bodies Found After Boat Sinks In Tracy

TRACY, Calif. -- Dive teams and sheriff's officials in San Joaquin County found two bodies late Sunday evening, after an aluminum boat with 10 men aboard sank earlier in the day.
Identification of the two bodies is pending, and a spokesman for the sheriff's office said the search would continue for the remaining two men until darkness.
Sheriff's deputies responded to the Oasis Marina at about 1 a.m. and discovered that a 14-foot aluminum boat had sunk, and six out of 10 passengers had made it safely to shore, police said.
Police arrested the boat's operator, Daniel Cordova, 43, who was charged with DUI while boating.
The 10 men are all from Oakland, and police said alcoholic beverages and the lack of swimming ability may have played a role in the incident.
