The mysteries of Mesa Verde Park.
What makes Mesa Verde distinct is not just that its inhabitants planned, engineered and constructed these amazing cliff dwellings, but that they managed to live in this inconvenient place (climbing up the cliffs to tend crops, down to the streams to fetch water) for about 100 years.
