Untold billions of US tax dollars have been spent and will continue to be spent on mega bases in Iraq like the 16 square mile fortress in Balad that houses fourty thousand troops and sees more air traffic than London's Heathrow airport.
Go to this link and read this article and then tell me the US is going to just up and leave Iraq any time in the near future. They have no intentions of leaving and it is seriously pissing off the rest of the world.

PS... tired of reading the B.S. in the US media, you can read any newspaper from any country in the world from this site -
yes, and did you catch that "more air traffic than London's Heathrow airport"... this is one of the biggest factors in the rising price of oil ... but media never talk about the amount of fuel being consumed for this war.
