Low vitamin D levels could reflect age, lack of physical activity and other lifestyle factors that also affect health, said American Heart Association spokeswoman Alice Lichtenstein, director of the Cardiovascular Nutrition Laboratory at Tufts University.

Oxygen, sun, ocean, sarcasm - the basic necessities of life.
-
Beware - Too much sun isn't good either.
-
True yonie, let's not forget Baz's message back in the 90's.. (i think he also mentions that flossing regularly is a good idea. bo!)

I lived in Seattle for 4 years, thought I was going to die.
-
Getting out into the sun is great. Just don't forget to put on sunblock. Skin cancer is not sexy.
-
-
Kids need to get out more these days, to many stay inside and play video games.
-
no sunshine = sadness
sadness = substance abuse
substance abuse = death
makes sense to me! -
Funny headline :D As far as I know, we all have a 100% chance of future death ;)

Lack of sun may be unhealthy, but too much sun puts you at risk for skin cancer.
-
I think theres plenty other ways to get vitamin D anyway so id rather stay out of the sun to try and fix that problem.
-
Good thing I was a lifeguard for seven years. Got me some sun! And some cool spots on my shoulders. Opps. Looks like I'll be twice as likely to die from skin cancer.

I knew there was a reason I always walk on the sunny side of the street! : )
-
YAY!! Back to the beach!! SUN!!
-
Why does it seem like everything is both good for you and bad for you all at the same time?
-
its either too little sun or too little sunscreen
-
Is exposure to sun good for health or does it cause cancer? What is the truth?
-
I'm going to die.

Personally, I hate sunlight but considering I get blasted with it every time I go to my car (California) I bet I get just enough.

All in moderation...too much and you die of skin cancer; not enough, rickets and osteomalacia. Fun!
-
I think we are all as likely to die...somehow..

So I live in Eureka where there is limited sun, anyone know if those vit. D supplements you buy are worth a crap? Can your body absorb that well enough? Or should you look for ones combined with other stuff so you can absorb it?
-
What a funny headline. Everyone has a 100% chance of dying.

Get more sun. No, avoid the harmful UV rays. Wear sunscreen. Sunscreen may cause skin cancer. Sun may cause skin cancer.
Oh, the mixed messages!-
