    NASA's Earth Observatory site has some amazing satellite images of the fires and smoke plumes over California right now.

  • I live in Sacramento, CA and visibility is less then a mile. The smoke has encompassed everything for the last week. It's like living in a surreal dream world where you get to breath in smoke. Excersing outside is out of the question. The funniest part of the whole thing is that people still roll down their windows to smoke cigarretes, do they think it really matters in this haze?
