It is nice to see things like this happen. The world cannot condone the actions taking place in Africa, and by them taking his "knighthood" it shows the British Crown does have a human side to it, and that they can do something, no matter how superficial it is.

Good! He needs to have anything that feeds his tyrannical ego taken away.
-
he was knighted ? what ? i was genuinely unaware he had been . you mean to say that M. was worthy of being considered as beneficial to "british-ness" as Sir Paul ?
-
AND ELTON JOHN?!?!?!?!?!??!!
-
Somebody take his balls while you're at it.

Mugabe is the better because the British are the most foolish people in history. How else can one explain the harrowing fact that that delusional Elizabeth has been lording it over the Fools eons after the momentous revolution of Thomas Paine, the greatest political philosopher of all-time, freed America and France from monarchistic dictation?

that's not all either, the cricket team have sacked off their tour to Zimbabwe next year.
but i agree with Neghie, his knighthood shouldn't be the only thing he's stripped of.-

The second oil is discovered in Zimbabwe, G.W Bush will be going all Medieval on Mugabe.... As much as US foreign policy is the most appalling thing ever, in this case it might be merited... Maybe.

You can't eat oil!
He inheritted a great agricultural country from Britain and ejected the white farmers or made life impossibly unbearable for them.
If he'd only just let it be and built agricultural schools instead of lining his pockets and that of his cronies the indiginous people could have taken the farms over and the country would be the envy of Africa now.-

Oh, wow. What's next? We're going to send him to bed without any dessert? De-knighting him means absolutely nothing and shouldn't be cause for pats on the back.
-
I wonder how bothered he is by this news....
-
It's right to remove a Knighthood for a point but god forbid it be right to remove videos depicting death of American Soldiers.
Hypocritical BS people. -
It is important to make symbolic gestures like this but more people in power need to make a stand....soon!
-
What will this do in the long run? His punishment needs to be more than simply this. I say leave him on the streets naked for the people to deal with him.
-
removing his knighthood is basically worthless. something real needs to be done, not just a slap on the wrist.

Why was he knighted in the first place? Why wasn't his knighthood stripped earlier? Why won't anyone take real action?

They missed his balls. He's not using them correctly and needs to be immediately divested of them. And perhaps they can take his head in the bargain, as he's not really using that either.
By the way, Mr. Mugabe, an election requires CHOICE. If there is just one person on an election ballot, there's no landslide because there's no election. That's called coersion.
What did you do with the body parts you had cut off of your opponent's wife?
Jerk.-
