The Supreme Court has struck down a Louisiana law that allowed the execution of people convicted of a raping a child. The decision evoked an unyielding rebuttal from four members of the court, as well as strong condemnation from both presidential candidates.

This article presents photographs and two videos (including an absolutely staggering documentary about the life-long legacy of child sexual abuse in Alaska).

  • In some foriegn countries they still practice the old ways such as cutting off the offending limb. This would cut down on a lot of sexual predator.

  • When you think about it, rape is worse than murder. The victim of a rape still has to live with, and remember, what was done to her/him.

This is especially the case with child rapes, where not only does the kid have to live with what was done to him/her, the kid likely had no way of trying to defend themselves when it happened, or might have not even been entirely sure of what had happened.

Either way, the rape victim is likely to deal with some serious psychological issues, and potentially commit suicide. Any hope of having a normal sex life ever again (if one was old enough for it to have existed) is basically lost.

What the supreme court did here is horrifying.

  • I"m not expert on this matter, but think about it, DON'T BE SO SIMPLISTIC, if you're a "rapist", and a career one, and you rape a child, and know and think, "oh, I'll get the death penalty weather I get caught OR kill the kid", you're MORE LIKELY TO KILL, KILL, KILL, that child, so they will not turn you in.

You are creating an incentive to KILL. Think about it, dangerous.
