Yet another perfectly good human being is being thrown in hell, according to the Westboro Baptist Church, an extremist Christian group hell-bent on making the lives of the rest of the world miserable.
"He used his platform to make a mock of sin and scoff at the Lord God of Eternity." Says the Church, who had another one of their signs made to show their hatred for the man who recently died at the age of 71. Like their other hateful signs, this one shows a picture of George Carlin's face enveloped in flames with 'devil' horns on his head, and the words "CARLIN IN HELL" printed in bright orange letters.
They did a similar thing to the memory of Matt Shephard, the boy who was murdered in 1998 for being gay. It's wrong to defile the memory of those dead, and it's disrespectful to the friends and relatives of the deceased.
"He boasted he did not believe in hell when he was on earth. Be assured he believes now," Says Fred W. Phelps, founder of the Church.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Those little bastards are planning on picketing his funeral, too.
Shouldn't that be disturbing the peace, loudly announcing the damnation of a person while their loved ones weep and mourn for the dead?
They continue to disgust me.

Saying this in my best Carlin voice:
" Hal A Lou YA, Mutha F*&ker ...." -
can they really be called a Church when there's only about 10 of them?
Anyway, carlin could care less either way.
As for the WBC. I'm all for free speech and all that but come on! It says alot though that they are still alive. Other places they would have been done in a long time ago.-

Fred W. Phelps is a homophobic pig and a disgrace to true Christianity.

I believe it says in the Bible that only God will be my judge on whether I go to heaven or reside in the Fire of Everlasting Damnation. Plus people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones . ...right?
