Why would you want to put poison in your face and paralyze it? I think it is dangerous to play with that stuff, what if they find out down the road that it is really bad for you. People might be sorry later.
-
i love haskins!

Ah, what better way to express yourself than freeze your face with poison needles right next to your eyeballs. Fun fun fun! ...You-you can tell I'm having fun, right? ...No? Well, I'll just keep saying fun and they'll get it. Fun fun fun! Fun? :( Fun? I can just keep saying fun, and no one will notice! I can't even cry! :)

I love you, Sarah. That's exactly what I thought when I first saw those commercials.
-
Good segment! It was kind of a little oasis in a scatological episode. Oh, that's too Latinate...I should just call it the shit episode. That man channel is really fascinated with the same basics as at age 11, isn't it?
-
There really is too much promotion for this procedure.
-
The first time I saw a television ad for Botox, I was horrified. Do women know that they're injecting botulism toxins into their bodies? Ew.

Fun fact: Botulinium toxin is actually derived from the word "sausage poison."

You'd never know it from this advertising blitz, but Botox has amazing effects on kids with cerebral palsy...the induced paralysis isn't for cosmetic effect; it allows them to function. The cosmetic use makes the drug a hot property and likely drives the price up.

I live in S. CA, so I have to see these frozen-faced plastic people all the time. I vacillate among being annoyed by, sad for, and thoroughly amused by them. Thanks for putting together a piece that captures all those reactions so well (with a nice healthy dose of the latter; one wants to be entertained, afterall!). I will hunt around this site for more of your work - please tell me you have a regular vlog.
-
Sarah, I absolutely love these segments. Please, please, please do one on tampons and pads. And pregnancy tests. The ads for all of those are beyond ridiculous, and I would love to watch you wittily rip them to shreds.
-
Oh this is great Sarah! I love your segments. Please do one on Birth Control Commercials. Especially Yaz.
-
Wonderful segment, SO funny and sad.

This segment made some good points but I had to rewatch it to catch them. The reporter's face barely moved! Did she do this report because she had a bad job done? Is she unhappy she had to do this story? it's also hard to take wrinkle advise from some one with no wrinkles.
-
omg - saw this blog posting and had to come back and share - http://blog.modernmechanix.com/2008/04/03/weird-beauty-products/. Things change . . . things stay the same. How ridiculous!
-
Fantastic. Keep the Sarah Haskins segments coming please.
-
Sarah. You're like...like...um...
...the God of Godesses!
Yeah! That's it! -
Funny, funny, well done! God, I love sharp, witty sarcasm! Go Girl. Sarah is the bomb!
-
my favorite part? when sarah hands her imaginary viagra guitar to someone (also imaginary, presumably) off camera.

and oh yeah on this extreme surgery show, the people in the know told us viewers that botox could lead to cancer (they tested it on some mice)
