Wow indeed! Here's BBC Three's site for the show. I think this is an interesting idea for a show... a different take on an established format. But why not just let disabled compete with the able-bodied?

Amazing! For once I am actually interested and proud of anything modeling-related.
EDIT: I do think it's silly that they need to have a completely separate group for disabled women. It should be open to everyone in the first place.

This should be really interesting and I am looking forward to seeing how the show handles the issue of physical difference and beauty. I have just started watching a show on American TV called She's Got The Look that deals with women over the age of 35 trying to break into the modeling industry. One of the initial contestants was a 63-year old woman, so people are obviously trying to think outside the box to come up with innovative new formats that can - at least potentially - challenge the way we tend to think about beauty.

I dont agree with this. Fashion is supposed to be about the clothes, not the model who is wearing it. There are other outlets in which people can show being different is great and all, but I don't think fashion is the way.
