Children are selling themselves as prostitutes, some as young as 11.
"I wanted to feel loved. ... I wanted to feel important," said the teen, who wanted to be identified only as Monique.
"You could put stuff in your ad like 'wet and wild,' 'fun and sassy,' things like that to catch their attention, to make them want you," she said.
"It would be a bigger problem if we removed that category and had those ads spread throughout the site," said Jim Buckmaster, chief executive officer of Craigslist.

It aint Craigslist that's the problem. What the hell is going on at home.

Where are the parents??? In the history of communications no one as ever reached through a phone or a computer screen and snatched anyone out of the safety of their home. Kids and do and say anything they want on-line but the parents have to teach them how to be safe once the step out of their rooms. It's not Craig's problem or the schools or TV, it's the parents that are always ultimately responsible and need to stand up and take charge.
