Mark Andreesen Joins Facebook's Board

Zuckerberg has inadvertently led Facebook into some murky waters recently (has anyone really forgotten the whole Beacon fiasco?), so bringing on the Netscape, Ning, and Opsware founder makes sense. As Arrington's post suggests, Zuckerberg has looked to Andreessen as a mentor in the past, but the most intriguing aspect is the Ning-Facebook implications.

Andreesson has been actively involved over at Ning, and I doubt this will change with him on Facebook's board. I wonder how it will impact things, if at all.
