Plans for an online TV/Video on demand service from all three UK terrestrial networks looked to be scuppered yesterday.
Kangaroo, as the project was to be known, aimed to collect up to 10,000 hours of classic programmes from BBC, ITV and Channel 4 and make them available online. However, an inquiry in to how compatible this would be with UK competition laws appears to have put the project on ice indefinitely.
