Even though the author is clearly biased and some allegations seem a bit farfetched, the article makes a couple of interesting points.

I am convinced artists should be judged solely on the basis of their work and not on their spiritual beliefs but Beck's involvement in Scientology does upset me.

  • I agree with saverio. An artist's personal life, including religion, should be just that -- PERSONAL. Who cares if Beck is/was Scientologist. He's not a preacher. He's a musician. Judge him for his talents.
