24 drink ban on party town

The police are looking at using unprecedented powers to ban drinking throughout an entire town this weekend as the Facebook group responsible for the Circle Line party last month continue to organise drinking sprees.
Now, I went on the Circle Line session and had a great time. It was a point in history and also an opportunity to peacefully protest at what I feel is a ridiculous law and drain on police time. I have to admit, these new 'parties' make me cringe. I removed myself from the group yesterday. I mean who wants to party with anyone who says 'Lots of people, lots of alcohol...f***in' rave.' ? Urgh....
