Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein is given a pretty light sentence but he's still going to do some time. According to Wiki, and The New Yorker, he is a member of the two globalist societies the Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission, as well as being tied to the Bill and Hillary Clinton and other high powered elites.
"A billionaire is now wearing a jail uniform after pleading guilty to hiring underage Palm Beach County, Fla., girls for erotic massages and sex.
Jeffrey Epstein, 55, will spend 18 months in the Palm Beach County Jail followed by a year of house arrest at his 13,000-square-foot mansion, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Tuesday.
Epstein's house arrest will include other restrictions such as a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew, an hourly daily activity log and a stern warning from Judge Deborah Pucillo that he not possess, watch or view any "obscene, pornographic or sexually stimulating material relative to your deviant behavior."
Police reports said that in 2004 and 2005 Epstein paid a 20-year-old male to find girls -- "the younger the better"-- to "work" for him. Epstein was arrested in July 2006 and pleaded guilty Monday to procuring a person under 18 for prostitution and felony offer to commit prostitution. The maximum penalty was 15 years in prison.
The former money manager still faces federal civil lawsuits filed by four girls each seeking in excess of $50 million."
From a New York Magazine write up:
“He has never been secretive about the girls,” Wolff says. “At one point, when his troubles began, he was talking to me and said, ‘What can I say, I like young girls.’ I said, ‘Maybe you should say, ‘I like young women.’ ”
Epstein mounted an aggressive counterinvestigation. Epstein’s friend Alan Dershowitz, the Harvard law professor, provided the police and the state attorney’s office with a dossier on a couple of the victims gleaned from their MySpace sites—showing alcohol and drug use and lewd comments. The police complained that private investigators were harassing the family of the 14-year-old girl before she was to appear before the grand jury in spring 2006. The police said that one girl had called another to say, “Those who help [Epstein] will be compensated and those who hurt him will be dealt with.”

Although it's a light sentence it still shows that even the filthiest of the filthy rich aren't above and beyond the law.

There was no statutory rape charge though. Here's the back story if you want more details.

so this proves that in america if you have enough money you can do whatever you want. this scumbag makes it a habit of procurring underage girls to perform sex acts with him and all he gets is 18 months of which he'll probably serve 10-12. if this was some guy making $40,000 he'd probably go to jail for 10 years. yeah american justice system

Wait! Isn't that child molestation and exploitation for the rest of us?
Any one of us would be labeled a sex offender and be placed on the list, we'd be in jail for like 20 years for each offense - he has many obviously.
What a bunch of crap! This guy won't do half his time, you watch if it ever gets reported again.
Not saying I agree with the law i the first place exactly, but the inequity is ridiculous.-
