Obama on Faith based groups

As a non believer I dont see a problem with religious groups being put in a position to genuinely help people.
People are so pissed about this though.
First hes a muslim now he wants to force Jesus on the country.
People just find it hard to listen to Obama before they make judgments about him.

    Everyone should watch this video in order to comment on Obama's view on this. It may be surprising that he is supporting this to some, but that's another issue, it is the issue however that most are concerned about.

    I don't like tax dollars going to religious groups when George Bush does it and I won't like it if Barack Obama does it.

    I'm with you John and shadow about being skeptical of faith based initiatives, but to be fair...the tax money is going to the needy and is only administered by religious groups. On it's face, using the existing infrastructure of religious based outreach groups to reach more needy people is a smart idea. But I worry that it will be abused and become political. That's is what happened under Bush.
