Obamas FISA vote isnt going over well with his supporters including me.

I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Obama supported this was due to an underlying part of the bill unknown to the public. Unfortunately measures are typically passed in this manner. For instance, you can have a bill that would push one agenda, but then have a few linked agendas in the package such as supplying our troops with more body armor.
It's a damned if I do and damned if I don't scenario. A politician could get slammed for voting against it because it "proves" he doesn't support our troops or get slammed for voting it in.
Considering McCain and Bush have been pushing this bill very aggressively since it was introduced and they were both for the original measure, it's a shame that no one is talking about McSame's stance on the issue...
