Sixteen Candles Sequel?

Molly Ringwald recently told AOL that she'd like to do a sequel to "Sixteen Candles." "40 Candles," anyone? Would anybody go see it, and aren't there enough sequels out there already?

    There are way too many sequels out there!
    Sequels, along with remakes and adaptations have shown how desperate Hollywood has become.
    Where are the completely original movies?!

    I'd agree PajamaDan. Here's a link to our story for those of you who haven't seen it yet. We'd love to know what you think, so whip out those Web cams and tell us. We'll be putting some of your responses on Current TV--but let's call that an "update" ... not a sequel.
