Siesta Awareness UK, are campaigning for UK bosses to include powernaps in the working day. Yes at last, an organisation that appreciates you for who you are; the type that wants to sleep all day at work and still pull in a good wage for doing it. Yes and pigs really do fly too!?

It makes total sense! Rest in the afternoon, feel refreshed (and therefore more productive) in the evening - you know you're going to be staying at work late anyway, so at least you could be on good form!

I'm totally for this - it works for me. I'm lucky enough to be able to cycle home for lunch in about 10 mins - that combined with having an hour and half for lunch allows me to settle my brain. Sometimes I nap and sometimes meditate - the latter has better effect but takes some effort. Days I do not do this I feel much more frazzled by the end of the day and less able to focus in the afternoon.
