  • Current's own Kaj Larsen volunteered to be waterboarded to investigate whether it's a legitimate interrogation technique or torture.

  • Christopher Hitchens, a heretofore left-winger-turned-shill-for-the-neocons had asserted that waterboarding was not torture until, to his credit, he volunteered to try it himself. His conclusion? "Believe me, it's torture". Click on the link for his report.

  • How can anyone in their right mind deny that making someone fear for their life because they feel like they are drowning is torture? I am glad this is being brought to light and is getting so much media attention at the moment.

  • Its so disturbing to watch this happen to someone. its been happening to long in secret and its about time for it to stop. No person should ever have this much power over someone elses breathing.

  • They can call it whatever they want, but it will still be a form of torture.

  • It is torture and damages the little respect that the U.S. still has on a Global basis. The men and women that actually conduct the "waterboarding", should be tried as war criminals, along with their commanders, and ultimately Commander-in-Chief.

  • this is terrifying....the united states is behaving more despicably than any POW camp there ever was. they don't even detain enemy soldiers. they detain 'suspected terrorists'...i.e. anyone.

fuck. what happened to my country?
