These are his views, not mine.

There is a great confusion in this Country about the word freedom. Some people thinks that freedom is to do anything they want not matter if what you do ends up to hurt someone around you or not and that is the big confusion. Therefore "freedom" has to do a lot with education and responsibility. Therefore, You can do anything you want as long as you are not infringing in the rights of others. That is freedom!

I was interested to hear what this was about with the title "Live Free or Die", as I can agree with out hearing it. Penn is speaking as an American who can look at standing up for your liberties without letting emotions we have been taught to feel about society get in the way, i.e., not questioning why people had their 2nd amendment right stripped.
The Founding Fathers and revolutionists fought, killed, and died to ensure we have rights that we are letting slip away because we are told what to worry about. Yes, there are going to be bad people that shoot others. There are already bad people who shoot others, There are also good people who shoot bad people and save good people. Is that bad too? Is everyone going to go around shooting guns now. No. We have to be respected by our elected government to uphold the Constitution and give us the freedom to responsibly enact rights. Of course that would require the Legislature do to their part of the Constitution and pass legislation that reflects the nation's desire to prosper. Oh and that the Judicial branch should have a legal process that reflects the laws we want in place and isn't corrupt. And that the President we choose isn't just the lesser of two evils. Live free or die America. Or it won't be the land of the free for long, maybe the "land of the subdued and pacified".-

Why do we naturally assume that individuals who own guns are the bad guys? The bad guys are the part of our culture that clogs our prisons with people who have harmed NO ONE! The bad guys are the people who create situations that keep us fighting amongst ourselves.
Hey folks! We are easier to control, when we are fighting amongst ourselves. If we aren't fighting amongst ourselves, that means the politicians have to spend more time doing their job.
What we have to do is stop sending people to prison just because they arn't white! We have to stop keeping people out of employment just because they are not white! We have to stop sending people to prison just because they used durgs or something, that absolutly harmed no one! We have to stop turning people OUT of prison just because the place is over crowded, because it's cramed full of people who should not be there.
And we have to change an education system that uses antquated teaching methods, just because somebody in the system is affraid somebody is going to learn something. -
"He who gives up freedom for safety deserves neither." Benjamin Franklin
We aren't free anymore.
Penn is obviously a pure conservative (and don't confuse that with a Republican).
