GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!
-
All the hemming and hawing about this issue has really paid off. We need to hem and haw even louder!
-
my understanding is the moratorium pertained only to
the acceptance of applications for new solar projects.
this still does not guarantee the approval of these new
applications, nor does it say anything about the ones
currently 'in process'.
acceptance or processing does not equate approval.
nor does the rescission indicate a shift in the BLM's
practice of slow-rolling these alternative energy lease
applications into oblivion.
now more than ever, we need to continue the effort to
make sure that these applications get the same attention
and hopefully approval as the petroleum lease applications.
-- and that we see them all the way thru to the building,
production and distribution of energy from these proposed
solar power plants. -
Great news!

Our one voice was heard now bring the price down..
-
well America does have plenty of room to build loads of these things & what a great idea too. Also, I love those wind turbines... Im using them as the branding theme for the new music label Im setting up Called Wearfield Records!

This shows us that if enough of us collectively make our voices heard, the politicians, democrat, repug, liberal,or conservative, have no choice but to do our bidding. Now if we can just get everyone to scream at the top of our collective voices for social and economic justice we might have the kind of nation our Founding Fathers envisioned.Big tent baby, big tent!!

so what snail-darter protection group will now spring out of the ground to prevent the solar collectors from being installed?
i can't wait to hear that one...
