A Nobel Prize-winning scientist has hit out at what he terms the "moral corruption" of the medical industry. Britain's Sir John Sulston says that profits are taking precedence over the needs of patients, particularly in the developing world.

It is the same in the US. Doctors are not there to help their patients anymore. They're there to help the company they work for to gain more profit. And sometimes, these companies purposely make medication that has symptoms that are treated by another round of their other medications and the circle continues.
