As a college student, I'm always looking for ways to save money. This is a handy list of ways to be more green while also saving money.

    losing money or health, how about the 4 billion people living in poverty on this earth. They cant afford green technology Ask someone in south dallas to pay 50K for a hybrid vehicle. Are you gonna pay for it, probably not. How much do think a honda hydrogen car is? People hurting are still driving 86 oldsmobile's, they need gasoline take your elitist idea and shove em fool.

  • the only one i see a problem with is number 7
    from what i know, warming up your engine, no matter how hot it is outside, makes up for the amount of fuel wasted by driving a car with a cold engine. unless it the engine is actually warm beforehand.
    it also causes unnecessary damage to the engine which will make it shit itself more quickly and possibly cost even more and waste even more resources
    if anything driving less aggressively would help more

  • I found these good reminders. As for global warming and going green, it starts with one one person doing one thing. If it's just a cloth bag instead of a plastic bag.

  • and hybrid cars arent all that great for the environment.
    it would be much more beneficial to just get an old car and drive it till it shits all over itself.
    getting a brand new car because it gets better mileage wont do much considering the amount of energy it took to manufacture and transport it.
