Let's put this in perspective:
If I quit my job, there is a new job opening: the one I quit. Someone can benefit.
If my job quits me, there is no-one who can get my job, because it just does not exist anymore. We all lose.
Marijuana is considered a gateway drug because it may be the first illegal drug that people use before starting the real soul sapping drugs.
Termination is a gateway that is far worse than marijuana: the soul sapping starts immediately!
How many of these newly terminated people will become 'deadbeat dads,' lose their mortgages or turn to theft or drug-dealing or simply become the ever present homeless. -
But don't worry, farm subsidies will keep families pulling in six figures right atop the economic-food chain. Keep up the good work government. People who obviously need help are the ones getting it. Forget these contracted jobs. Focus on the cotton farmers. Keep it up.

I feel very uneasy when I see statistical numbers because they can never translate the significance of an individual's life. Behind of one of these digits there are spouses, kids, parents and so forth. So these numbers are bigger than we can possible imagine. We got to invent a better and responsible society because what we have now is just plain ridiculous. I think I said this before; It should be illegal for a Father with a family to just lose his job.

People lose their job, then their house; the two problems the US are facing now. No one see the ties of the two.
With more companies laying off more people and 100 people for 1 job what did they was gonig to happen?
What is being made in and of America?
