Holocaust survivor abused by Israeli security

This frail old lady, a Holocaust survivor, was arrested at the Ben Gurion airport in Israel, told to strip, and then told to bend over so that she could have her orifices searched. She was accused of being a terrorist and a security risk.

  • Certainly I can see the need for the Israeli security people to be paranoid.

    Is it really so bad over there now that they feel completely justified in doing this to an old woman? How many old women have committed offenses warranting this sort of invasion of privacy?

    While I'm certain they weren't aware, at least at first, that she was a survivor of the Holocaust, I can't imagine what this must have been like for her, considering her past.
