Captured on video and covered by the AP, this video is appalling to say the least.
Esmin Green died face-down on the waiting room floor in her hospital gown; caught on video and ignored by hospital staff for more than an hour!
The surveillance video, which has made it around the world, shows Esmin Green falling off a waiting room chair in the hospital's psychiatric emergency department. She begins convulsing and winds up face-down on the floor.
The 49-year-old mother of six children came from Jamaica to NY more than 10 years ago spending all her time in the US working to send money back to Jamaica for her kids.
No autopsy results have been released as of yet.

So this hospital is still functioning why?
According to CNN:
"A federal investigation of the hospital was under way when the incident involving Green happened. The probe was sparked by abuse allegations at Kings County detailed in a May 2007 lawsuit filed by the NYCLU and the Mental Hygiene Legal Service, which alleged conditions at the facility are filthy.
Patients are often forced to sleep in plastic chairs or on floors covered in urine, feces and blood while waiting for beds, and often go without basic hygiene such as showers, clean linens and clean clothes, the suit states."-

It is indeed sad to see this. It is incredibly terrible to the point where people are. This is of the worsts cases about Disregard of Life. The Police Officer and Hospital should be held liable for this brutality.
